Comedian Nate Bargatze

Grammy nominated comedian Nate Bargatze performed four sold out shows at Celebrity Theatre in September of 2022. The performances were produced and recorded in anticipation of Bargatze’s new live standup special, entitled Nate Bargatze: Hello World, released on Amazon Prime on January 30, 2023. The special, released just one week ago, remains in Amazon’s Top 10 to Watch with a five-star rating!

Nate Bargatze is known for his family friendly comedy, including his take on topics like family, kids and marriage. He has performed on large festivals like Bonnaroo, SXSW and Sasquatch, and hosts a weekly podcast called Nateland.

Bargatze is currently out on The Be Funny Tour.

Celebrity Theatre is one of Phoenix’s most one of a kind historic landmarks and has hosted comedians like Nate Bargatze, Tom Segura, Bert Kreischer, Jim Gaffigan, Chris D’Elia, Sal Vulcano, Joe Gatto, Chris Rock, George Lopez, Don Rickles and George Carlin just to name a few. In 1963, the round building was originally designed as a multi-purpose conference center which could be transformed into a concert venue during the winter months. The theatre opened on January 13th, 1964 with the musical “South Pacific” starring Betsy Palmer. In the years since, the theatre has broken many of the world’s biggest stars like Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Beck, Diana Ross, Billy Joel, Van Halen, Bonnie Raitt, Beyonce, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Duran Duran, Sammy Davis Jr., Smashing Pumpkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd, David Bowie, B.B. King, Olivia Newton-John, Nat King Cole, Fleetwood Mac, Liberace and Etta James among many other legendary performers.

After extensive renovations, the Celebrity Theatre re-opened its doors under new ownership in December of 1995. For nearly 60 years, the historic facility has provided patrons with the ultimate in entertainment viewing featuring an extremely rare revolving stage and no seat is more than 70 feet away from your favorite artist!
